Newport beach has many tourist attractions such as the TV Show "The OC", which is filmed in various locations in Newports Beach.

A Favorite Fall event at Fashion Island is the annual event where builders and architects donate their time to build one of a kind play houses. This is a five week event to benefit homeaid for Orange County. These masterpieces are displayed all around Fashion Island and are auctioned off at the end of this Newport Beach event to the highest bidder. One house is given away in random at the auction party.

Upper Newport Bay Regional Park is a great attraction in Newport Beach for personal trainers and residents. Here you can see fresh water and salt water meet at the Newport Beach Estuary. It is one of only a few remaining estuaries in Southern California and is home to 200 species of birds includeing several endangered species, as well as numerous species of mammals, fish, other critters and native plants.
